Client Tech Support Sr. Associate - Panama - Pa
Role Overview:

As a Client Tech Supt Sr. Associate the candidate will be responsible for providing telephone/email/chat, online, social media and remote diagnostic technical support of desktops, portables, peripherals (e.g., printers, projectors, etc.) and software custom or off the shelf software - industry or proprietary. Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products.

Role Responsibilities:

• Responds to customer technical problems/issues related to hardware, software and networking via e-mail/chat, online, social media and phone.
• Uses troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify products that are defective and follow guidelines in issuing service calls/contacts.
• Advises/educates customers within procedural guidelines to ensure a complete solution to their technical or service questions.
• Identifies, researches and provides input on unique or recurring customer problems.
• Remains knowledgeable of Dell's product line, current industry products and technologies.
• Focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell standards.
• Escalates more complex customer technical issues to senior level support.

Requirements :

Works effectively and efficiently under time constraints and high stress/pressure environments..
Capacity to prioritize and make adapt in a constantly changing environment.
The ability to explain technical solutions clearly
Effectively use software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, & peripherals.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written skills in English.
Excellent telephone etiquette skills.

Preferences:

• Bachelor Degree (concluded or finishing) in Technology (Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electric/Electronic Engineer or similar).
• 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Ideal candidate will possess at least one of the following certifications: A+, MOS, MCSA: Windows 7 certification, MCP: Windows XP.
